Hello Everyone!!!
For those of you who do not know, my name is Amanda Decker and I recently took over as president of the alumni society after Laura Murphy and Jodi Smith decided to step down. I just recently graduated from the University and I look forward to continuing the great this that the group has done. Over the years I have seen the wonderful things that have happened with alumni support and I can't wait. I would also like to introduce Steve Vairetta as the Vice President. Again, we both look forward to serving the group.

I would like to apologize for getting this information and introducing myself so late. I just started grad school and things have been extremely crazy on my end.

I will be getting a paper mailing out shortly, but I did want to let everyone who I have email address know that we will be once again holding the BG Cross Country Alumni Banquet on Dec. 1, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. We will also be having an alumni gathering from 8-10 p.m. in the pub in the student union. The cost for attendance will be $16/person this year due to an increase in food costs. If you would like to attend, please send a check made out to the Bowling Green Cross Country Alumni Society and include the number of people attending. Also, I do have a fundraiser going. I have white coffee mugs with the BG logo and the words cross country written on them available for purchase. They are a nice quality mug great for everyday use or for a special gift. I have included a picture of them for anyone that is interested in seeing what they look like. They are available for purchase for $8 a piece plus $3.50 shipping (bubble wrapped and boxed safely). If you would like to purchase one or more, you can either email me with your order and mail the check to the above listed address or you can just mail it all to me. As soon as I receive payment, I can send them out. If you plan on attending the Falcon Invitational Oct. 15, they will also be made available along with hot chocolate!!!
