Jones recorded five tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, while holding the RedHawks to just 12 points and one touchdown in the BGSU victory. Jones and the defense also held Miami to 256 yards of offense, including three yards on the ground on 20 carries.

Jones finished the contest with Toledo recording four tackles, 2.0 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss. The defensive tackle added a forced fumble and was part of a defensive line that helped hold the Rockets to just 130 yards on the ground, 50 yards below their season average.
