Goal: To provide resources to effectively help our student-athletes transition to life beyond sports.

SAS strives to equip student-athletes with the necessary tools a professional career after college. Often in conjunction with other offices on campus, student-athletes are able to access a variety of resources to aid in career development. The goal is to prepare student-athletes with transferable skills throughout their time here at BGSU. These skills make student-athletes highly desirable and valuable assets to employers in today’s workplace.

SOARing Program

Student-Athlete Services provides all BGSU student-athletes with developmental opportunities. The SOARING Program is designed to give student-athletes a variety of options to grow personally and mentally throughout their time here at BGSU.

Year 1: HATCHING
- Mindfulness Workshop, Yoga

- Intro to Handshake Workshop
Year 3: BUILDING YOUR NEST
- Speed Interviewing, Alumni Panel
Year 4: SOAR
- Financial Planning, How to Cook Workshop
