2016: After sitting out the 2015 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery, served as BGSU’s Friday starter … made 11 starts, accumulating a 3-6 record while posting a 3.07 ERA … held opponents to a .247 batting average … struck out 40 batters, and logged a total of 55.2 innings … suffered an injury during his start versus Northern Illinois on April 29, and missed his final three starts … over his first five starts, pitched at least 5.0 innings while allowing less than three runs … threw 5.0 innings of one-run ball in an opening-day victory at East Tennessee Feb. 19 … tied a career high with six strikeouts at Seattle (Feb. 26) … earned a no decision in a victory over Elon (March 4) by allowing one run and five hits over 5.0 innings … picked up his second win of the season against Presbyterian (March 11), as he tossed 6.2 innings of one-run baseball … did not allow an earned run over 6.0 innings at Western Michigan (March 18) … earned his final win of the season against Ohio (April 15) by allowing zero earned runs and just three hits across 5.0 innings … in a crucial late-season win at Ball State (April 22), pitched 4.2 innings, allowing one run and two hits.

PRIOR TO BGSU: Originally committed to Stony Brook University in 2012 before transferring to Kaskaskia College for the 2013 season … served as the Saturday starting pitcher for Kaskaskia … pgraduated from Hauppauge High School in 2012, earning one letter for coach Kevin Giachetti … named All-League and All-County across his final two years for the Eagles, while earning All-State honors as a senior … had a 6-2 record with a 0.80 ERA and 73 punch outs in 2012.
