Chelsea Lowe was named an Assistant Athletic Trainer at BGSU in August of 2012. Lowe works directly with the BGSU football and the swimming and diving programs. She also supervises coverage of the gymnastics, softball, track and field, cross country and cheerleading programs.

Lowe comes to BGSU after working as an intern in athletic training at the University of Denver. She was responsible for coverage of the volleyball and men’s and women’s ski teams there, providing additional help in hockey and gymnastics. Prior to that, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Kansas, serving from July of 2009 through June of 2011. She worked primarily with the department’s swimming and diving team.

Lowe received her bachelor’s degree in sport and exercise science from the University of Northern Colorado in May of 2009 and earned her master’s degree in sport management from Kansas in May of 2011.
