Luke Wagner joined the BGSU football staff in 2016 as a recruiting coordinator under head coach Mike Jinks. Currently he is a graduate assistant on the offensive side of the football.

Wagner comes to Northwest Ohio after spending the last several seasons as a student assistant and intern at Texas Tech. During the 2015 season, Wagner worked as a recruiting intern where his day-to-day role included working alongside the recruiting coordinator and director of operations, setting up recruiting visits and building a recruiting database. He also worked closely with the offensive line at TTU during his time as a student manager. Wagner started his football career as a quarterback at Texas A&M-Commerce before transferring to Tech.

Wagner is a 2014 graduate of Texas Tech, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise sport science. He is the son of Dallas and Shelley Wagner and has three siblings – Tara, Caleb, and Joshua.
