Kathleen Westfall was hired in July of 2022 as an Academic Coordinator for Student-Athlete Services. She will serve as the advisor for Football, Women’s Basketball, and Softball.
Kathleen came to Bowling Green from Defiance College where she spent 20 years in various positions within the Athletic Department. Most recently she was Associate AD/SWA with primary responsibility overseeing compliance and eligibility. Additionally she was responsible for NCAA and Conference awards, EADA/NCAA reporting, implementation of the NCAA Sexual Violence Prevention Policy, game operations, programming, and served as a SAAC Advisor. Kathleen began her career as a certified athletic trainer before transitioning over to full time administration.
Originally from Redford, Michigan, Westfall earned bachelor’s degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology from Ohio University in 2000 and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburg in 2002.
