Bowling Green Announces 2026 Football Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) released the 2026 football schedule for its member institutions today (March 24). Bowling Green's slate features 12 regular-season games, including six home contests. Kickoff times and network designations for all contests will be announced at a later date.
In 2026, Bowling Green will host Tarleton State (Sept. 5), South Florida (Sept. 26), Sacramento State (Oct. 10), Ball State (Oct. 17), Kent State (Tues., Nov. 10) and UMass (Nov. 28).
BGSU's non-conference schedule will take them to Nebraska (Sept. 12) and Iowa State (Sept. 19). In conference play, the Falcons will travel to Miami (OH) (Oct. 3), Buffalo (Oct. 24), Western Michigan (Oct. 31) and Toledo (Wed., Nov. 18).
As previously announced, Bowling Green's Homecoming game will take place on Sept. 26 against South Florida. The Oct. 17 game against Ball State will be Family Weekend.
The Falcons' 2026 schedule features seven opponents that were bowl eligible, or reached the postseason in 2025 – Nebraska (Las Vegas Bowl), Iowa State (opted out), South Florida (Cure Bowl), Miami (OH) (Arizona Bowl), Toledo (Boca Raton Bowl), Western Michigan (Myrtle Beach Bowl). Tarleton State made it to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs in 2025.
Tarleton State, Nebraska and Sacramento State are all first-time opponents for the Falcons.
Coming off a historic season of fan support, Bowling Green Falcons football set program records with the highest average fan attendance and the largest Bowling Green State University student attendance in Falcon Football history. The Falcons also recorded their first sellout at Doyt Perry Stadium since 2007 and welcomed the most Falcon Family Weekend ticket sales ever, highlighting the incredible momentum surrounding the program.

Information on Season Tickets
Football season tickets are now available for purchase and for current season ticket holders to renew. This can be done online by signing into your ticket account. Fans who are interested in purchasing season tickets can do so by clicking here. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of our Early Bird Special from now until Friday, May 22. At that time, any unrenewed seats will be released to the public and prices will increase after May 22. Single-game tickets go on sale June 1.
As part of continued efforts to enhance the fan experience at Falcon football games, Bowling Green State University Athletics has announced that the Falcon Marching Band will move to a new seating location inside Doyt Perry Stadium beginning with the Fall 2026 football season.
Current season ticket holders in the affected sections will have the opportunity to renew their current seats or relocate to other available seating areas. Friends and family of the Falcon Marching Band are encouraged to purchase seats in section 17.
· Sections 19L and 19U is the new location for the Falcon Marching Band on gamedays.
· Sections 20L and 20U has been converted to Sideline Bench seating.

The fan-favorite Family Pack will include four Red Zone General Admission season tickets and a parking pass for each game, all for only $220.
For fans wanting a more premium experience, the Sebo Center Party Deck is the place to be this year. This premium experience includes a tailgate buffet and cash bar, along with multiple seating options. Fans can choose to watch the game from the north end zone bleachers with chairback seats, high-top tables on the balcony, or stay out of the elements inside the Sebo Center. Falcon Club members at a $250 or higher level can purchase season tickets in the Party Deck for $300. After May 22, the price will increase.
BGSU Faculty and Staff can receive one complimentary Red Zone General Admission ticket, and 50 percent all other bowl-level seating. Additionally, BGSU Faculty/Staff have the option to utilize Payroll Deduction for the cost of their tickets. Faculty/Staff can fill out this form to request their tickets.
