2015-16 (Senior): Played in 36 games as an injury forced him out for almost a month through the middle portion of the season … Finished with four goals and seven assists … Three-of-four goals came on the power play, as well as 7-of-11 points … Had two assists in the season-opening 6-3 win at Ohio State … Added two more assists in game two of the WCHA Tournament First Round, helping the Falcons to a 7-2 victory over Bemidji State … Scored with less than eight minutes remaining to get the Falcons a 4-4 tie with then-No. 17 Michigan Tech. The goal was the second in a 14-second span that allowed the team to come back from a two-goal third-period deficit.

Prior to BGSU: Brent Tate (Canton, Mich.) comes to Bowling Green after playing the last three seasons for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League. Tate recorded 21 goals and 41 assists in 108 games for Lincoln, while also earning 416 penalty minutes during his career. Tate ranked second on the team in penalty minutes in his final two seasons, earning 144 minutes in 2010-11, and 205 minutes in 2011-12. Tate finished his USHL career with a +2 on ice rating. Tate was also captain of the team in 2010 amd 2011.
