As a member of Coach Simon's staff in 2023-24, Settle aided in orchestrating one of the quickest turnarounds in program history. In the staff's first season, the Falcons tallied 20 wins for just the 10th time in the program's MAC era, becoming one of 10 teams in the nation to go from 20 losses in 2022-23 to 20 wins in 2023-24. The season saw Bowling Green advance to the MAC Semifinals and make an appearance in the CIT. Additionally, Marcus Hill was named All-MAC First Team and Rashaun Agee earned All-MAC Second Team. Hill earned four MAC Player of the Week recognitions and Agee was awarded once.
Settle came to Bowling Green as a graduate assistant in 2016. After his first season in BG, Settle was promoted to video coordinator in July of 2017. The Indiana native held the position of video coordinator for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, prior to his promotion to DOBO before the 2019-20 campaign. Settle was retained on staff by new head coach Todd Simon in the role of director of player personnel, beginning in 2023-24.
Settle is a 2016 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, while minoring in Sport Administration at UC. At Cincinnati, Settle played a key role as a student manager on a number of highly-successful Bearcat teams under Mick Cronin. Settle currently resides in Bowling Green, and earned a Master's degree from BGSU in 2019.
