A 1999 graduate and a four-year starter for Coach Tom Zell at Northeastern High School in Fountain City, Indiana... averaged 22.9 points as a senior helping the team to a 15-6 record and a third-place finish in the Tri-Eastern Conference... he also averaged 8.2 rebounds while shooting 49.0% from the field and 81.2% from the free throw stripe... he shot over 35% for his career from behind the arc... he earned first-team all-conference honors following his senior season and was an honorable mention all-state selection... he was selected to take part in the top 40 workouts and played in the North-South all-star game... he had 47 points in a game his senior season against Union Township and ended his career with 1,445 points, a school record... his 480 points his senior season rank second on the single-season list... he averaged 21.0 points and 4.5 rebounds as a junior helping Northeastern to a 15-6 record and a second-place conference finish... as a sophomore he averaged 16.4 points and the team won 16 games while as a freshman he hit for an average of 8.1 points per contest.
