2023-24:

Joined BGSU in January and skated in 14 games, recording one goal and two assist for three points.
Tallied six blocks through 14 games played and a season high of two at Michigan Tech on Mar. 8.

Prior to BGSU:

Spent three season with NAHL's Maryland Black Bears, and was an alternate captain for the 2023-24 season.
Schankula was tied for the Black Bears scoring with 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) through 29 games this season (2023-24).
Skated in 94 games and tallied 25 goals and 45 assists.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Schankula played three season in the NAPHL T1ER League for the TRI-State Spartans. During the 2021-22 season he led the T1ER 18U Division in scoring with 49 points.
