2002-03: Played 29 games scored his first collegiate goal in a multiple-point effort Jan. 3 vs. Alaska Fairbanks (1-1--2) had a two-game scoring streak Jan. 3-4 vs. Alaska Fairbanks (2-1--3).
2001-02: Appeared in just one game (Jan. 25 at Michigan) after joining the Falcons midway through the season.
Pre-College: Played 19 games with the Lincoln Stars in 2001-2002, scoring one goal with six assists played 2000-2001 season with the Springfield (Ill.) Blues of the North American Hockey League, registering 11-39--50 in 47 games with 85 penalty minutes earned spot in NAHL All-Star Team in 2001 played with the Texas Tornadoes (Dallas) of the NAHL in 1999-2000, finishing with 4-13--17 and 57 penalty minutes in 40 games played.

Assenmacher has six brothers (one younger) and one older sister majoring in pre-medicine shoots left graduate of Toledo St. John's High School where he helped lead the Titans to the 1999 Ohio High School Championship game lettered all four years under coach Mike Mankowski enjoys fishing, golf, boxing and cooking father played football at University of Detroit and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys cousin is former Major League Baseball pitcher Paul Assenmacher.
