Played in every game...had a three-game assist streak (0-5--5) from Oct. 23-30...scored first goal of the season Dec. 30 vs. Union to snap 23-game goalless streak...scored four goals in a six-game span from Dec. 30-Jan. 22...had game-winning assists against Western Michigan, Alaska Fairbanks and Lake Superior (CCHA tournament)...named to the CCHA All-Academic Special Mention team.
As a sophomore in 1998-99
Played in all 38 games...had a five-game point streak to start the season (3-4--7)...snapped an 11-game pointless streak with an assist versus Yale (Dec. 28)...scored at Alaska Fairbanks on Feb. 13 to stop a 25-game goalless streak...CCHA Special Mention All-Academic honoree...recorded a game- winning assist in back-to-back contests (Dec. 28 vs. Yale and Jan. 2 at Nebraska-Omaha)...scored the game-tying goal with 11 seconds remaining in regulation in second game of the year at Miami (Oct. 10)...had seven shots on goal in the aforementioned Oct. 10 contest.
As a freshman in 1997-98
All 15 of his points came in CCHA contests...recorded power-play goals at Alaska Fairbanks on Nov. 27 and at Miami on Feb. 27...had two two-assist games (Nov. 28 at UAF and Feb. 20 at WMU)...eight of his 15 points came away from the BGSU Ice Arena...had two goals and three assists in the final seven games of the regular season...tallied a goal in three straight home games (Nov. 15-22)... six of his eight assists came while BG was on the power play.
Pre-College
Skated his two seasons before BG with the Capital District Selects, an independent organization...played for the junior team in 1996-97 after competing on the midget level the year before...registered 53 goals and added 60 assists his last year of juniors, while also being whistled for 28 penalty minutes...primarily played left wing, but also saw duty at center and at right wing for head coach Jim Salfi...power-play and penalty-kill regular...early signee who was a teammate of Shawn Timm in the junior ranks...Hockey Night In Boston participant...New York Junior "Most Valuable Player" in 1996-97...served as a captain with the Selects each year since joining the team in 1993-94.
