Pre-College: Played 2000 season for the Wexford Raiders and coach Kevin Burkett led the Raiders in scoring with 88 points (38 goals/50 assists) also had 58 penalty minutes was selected OPJHL East Player of the Year and was named to the All-Star team earned team Most Valuable Player honors in 2000 and was the Runner-Up in OHA Player of the Year balloting named confrence player of the month for Sept. `99 had 54 points (23 goals/31 assists) during the 1998-99 season for Wexford played the 1997-98 campaign with the Oakville Blades and the Vaughan Vipers where he had 44 points (19 goals/25 assists) spent the 1996-97 season with the Richmond Hill AAA Bantam squad where he had 121 points (59 goals/62 assists) was team captain for the Richmond Hill Stars.
Personal: Full name--D'Arcy Francis McConvey born Oct. 23, 1981, in Richmond Hill, Ontario son of D'Arcy and Nonie McConvey has one brother (Paddy-19) and one sister (Ashlynn-24) majoring in financial economics maintains a 3.89 grade-point-average shoots left graduate of St. Michael's College School ('00) also earned letters in lacrosse (two) and football (three) earned Ontario Scholar honors selected as Thomas More Society Award for five years on the honor roll named as St. Michael's Outstanding Graduating Athlete received the schools Old Boys' Award in 2000 for combining academics and extra-curriculars and making an outstanding contribution to the school also earned The Graduation `M' for significant contributions to the St. Michael's community in the areas of sharing talents, service and athletics drafted by the OHL's London Knights in 1998 enjoys playing golf, working out and water skiing.
