2000-01: Only freshman to play in all 40 contests • scored his first collegiate goal (game-winner) Nov. 18 at Ohio State • scored a short-handed goal Dec. 2 vs. Michigan State • had two points (1-1--2) Jan. 5 at Princeton • three of his four goals came against CCHA opponents.
Pre-College: Played two seasons for coach Kevin Burkett and the Wexford Raiders in the OPJHL • scored 53 points (21 goals/32 assists) in 2000 season in 46 games as Wexford placed third in its division with a 32-11-3 (3-OTL) record • participated in the Future Stars Game earning Most Valuable Player honors • also named MVP of the Prospects All-Star game • recorded 39 points (19 goals/20 assists) in 46 games during the 1998-99 campaign to earn Wexford's Rookie of the Year award •spent the 1997-98 season with the Don Mills Flyers bantam squad • scored 107 points (43 goals/64 assists) during the 1996-97 season with the Toronto Red Wings minor bantam hockey team • was drafted in the sixth round of the 1999 OHL Draft by the Sarnia Sting.
