Pre-College: Played the last two seasons for coach Marty Abrams and the Wellington Dukes • scored 31 points (eight goals/23 assists) in 2000-01 and had 22 points (four goals, 18 assists) in 1999-2000 season for Wellington • both seasons, Wellington was runner-up in the OHA Junior A Leage • named Most Valuable Defenseman for Wellington and was player of the month (November, 2000) • was a member of the Under-17 Nova Scotia team and of Team Atlantic, which participated in the World Under-17 Hockey Tournament in 1999 and 2001.
