Kaleb Blevins embarks upon his first season on the Bowling Green State University men’s soccer program. Falcon head coach Eric Nichols announced the addition of Blevins to his coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in July of 2022.
“Kaleb is a sharp and ambitious young coach, and we are thrilled that he will be joining our staff for the next step in his career,” said Nichols. “He is certain to have a very positive impact on our players and on our program.”
Blevins, a native of Groveport, Ohio, came to BGSU after serving as graduate assistant coach at Montreat College in Montreat, N.C., in 2020-21. He was the head coach for the school’s developmental team while serving as assistant coach for the varsity squad, and played key roles in training, recruiting, travel and compliance-related duties with the Cavaliers.
During his time at Montreat, Blevins coached three All-Appalachian Athletic Conference Team members, four conference all-tournament athletes and 26 AAC All-Academic Team honorees. The team compiled a cumulative grade-point average of 3.46.
Blevins serves as head coach/marketing assistant of the Pride Soccer Club in Canal Winchester for two-and-a-half years, coaching boys teams at the U17 and U18 levels, and also had stints as the director of soccer for Bally Sports Group and director of recruiting at Ohio Christian University, his alma mater.
Blevins was a member of the men’s soccer team at Ohio Christian, where he was named to the Dean’s List and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Sport Management in 2019. He is on track to earn his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Montreat.
While at Ohio Christian, Blevins was named an NAIA River States Conference Scholar-Athlete, and also was a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
He played with Indy Saints FC in the UPSL and NPSL.
Blevins earned his USSF “C” Coaching License in 2021.
