A four-year letterwinner at Copley H.S. (‘16) under coach David Antal ... graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer ... a three-time All-Ohio First-Team selection, and was named Ohio’s Mr. Soccer in Division I in 2014 ... was also the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year that season ... was named Ohio’s Gatorade Player of the Year by USA Today in ‘14 ... in 2015, was a repeat selection to the NSCAA Boys’ Fall High School All-America Team ... he was one of 56 players named to that team, but one of only three repeat selections ... led the Indians to Suburban League titles in both his junior and senior seasons after second-place finishes in his first two years ... had seven goals and a pair of assists as a freshman, then registered 18 goals and six helpers in his sophomore campaign ... had 63 points on 23 goals and 17 assists as a junior, as Copley finished 20-1-1, earning sectional, district and regional titles and advancing all the way to the state semifinals ... became Copley’s career scoring leader in early September of 2015, when he scored his 50th career goal ... in his senior season, had 65 points on 28 goals and 10 assists, helping the Indians to a 15-3-1 record ... was named the 2015 SL Player of the Year ... finished his career with 76 goals and 35 assists, for a whopping total of 187 points ... was named to the West Team for the High School All-American game, held in Raleigh, N.C., in December of 2015 ... captained the Indians as a senior ... was named to the honor roll in all four years.

Christopher Joseph Brennan was born on Sept. 10, 1997, in Copley, Ohio ... son of Thomas and Jacqueline Brennan ... the third of four children ... has an older brother, an older sister and a younger brother ... a finance major at BGSU, with a 3.363 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2020 semester ... played club ball for Team Challenger Crew Juniors ... helped that team to a national title at the US Youth Soccer National Championships in July of 2017 ... was the tournament's leading scorer with six goals.
