2015: Continued to become more of a factor for Kerrie Turner, competing in 11 of the Orange and Brown’s 12 competitions in 2015 after competing seven times as a sophomore and once as a freshman … saw time on vault and floor … entered the season having only competed on floor, but made 10 vault appearances to go along with her nine floor appearances … competed on floor and vault at the same meet eight times … scored a career-best 9.700 on vault against Western Michigan … registered a career-best 9.750 on floor the following week at Michigan State … turned in arguably the best all-around meet of her career in a win over Kent State, as she posted a 9.725 on floor and a 9.675 on vault … posted at least a 9.600 a total of 14 times … reached the 9.700 plateau three times.

2014: Stepped into the rotation on floor exercise during the second half of the season, competing seven times … scored a career-best 9.750 at Kent State … added a 9.725 in a triangular at UCLA with Utah State … scored a 9.600 on the floor at the MAC Championships.

2013: Sat out most of her freshman season with injuries ... competed on floor once against Northern Illinois, scoring 9.35.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Tuscarora High School ... qualified for the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic National Championships, where she finished 38th in the all around, 27th on vault, 28th on bars, and 21st on floor: Carpenter competed against 57 gymnasts.
