During those two years, the Greyhounds went 16-11-8 overall and 12-6-7 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play, advancing to the GLVC Tournament in both seasons and qualifying for the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2021. The team picked up a win in the national tournament's first round, just the second NCAA Tournament victory in program history.
Chesterfield, a native of St. Charles, Ill., earned four letters as a goalkeeper at Ferris State University, where she was the first 'keeper to play in an NCAA Tournament match in school history. Chesterfield helped the Bulldogs to an overall record of 47-25-9, including a 30-9-5 mark over her last two seasons.
The Bulldogs posted a winning record in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play in all four years and advanced to the GLIAC Tournament in all four seasons as well. In 2018, Chesterfield's junior year, FSU finished with a sparkling 17-4-3 record and advanced to the 'Sweet 16' in the NCAA Tournament.
Chesterfield was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team in that 2018 campaign, and was also named a GLIAC Scholar Athlete on three occasions.
She posted a goals-against average of just 0.87 in 2018, the fourth-lowest single-season GAA in school history. And, she had 10 wins that fall, the third-highest single-season total by a goalkeeper in FSU history.
Chesterfield is ranked among the top-five goalkeepers in FSU history in career wins (18), shutouts (12) and GAA (1.10). She was named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week three times in her senior season of 2019.
A graduate of St. Charles East High School, Chesterfield was an NSCAA All-American in 2016.
Chesterfield is also a youth coach with Pacesetter Soccer Club.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ferris State in 2020, and received a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2023.
