Had seven total wins in her first season, despite missing the entire spring due to injury ... went 4-3 in singles and 3-3 in doubles for a 7-6 overall mark ... in singles, posted her first collegiate win vs. an Eastern Kentucky competitor at the Miami Invitational (Sept. 13), and went 3-1 at the BGSU Invitational the following weekend (Sept. 19-20) ... had a 6-0, 6-4 win over UIC's Ann-Sophie Hahn during the BG Invite ... competed at the third singles flight on each weekend ... in doubles, teamed with Megan Miller and Hannah Drayton for three matches apiece ... had a 1-2 mark with Miller at Miami, with an 8-2 win in their first match ... played at the number-two flight with Drayton at the BGSU Invitational ... that tandem posted wins over opponents from UIC and Detroit, with their lone loss (vs. Cleveland State) coming via tiebreaker.

Chesapeake does not have a tennis team, but she and her sister, Minda, competed in the state championships in doubles ... that duo won Southeast sectional and district championships in her junior year, advancing to the state semifinals ... in Meili's senior year, the duo advanced to the state quarterfinals ... they earned Ohio Tennis Coaches' Association All-State First-Team honors in both of those years (2012 and '13) ... was ranked 11th in the state of Ohio, 37th in the Great Lakes region and as high as 173rd in the nation according to TennisRecruiting.net ...
