Caitlin Shortridge joined the Bowling Green volleyball program in the spring of 2018 as the Director of Volleyball Operations. Responsible to coordinate all travel and food accommodations for the volleyball program, Shortridge also manages the coaching staff’s day-to-day schedules as the Director of Operations.

Prior to joining the volleyball program, Shortridge has been involved with Bowling Green athletics in various capacities. Shortridge is a two-time graduate of BGSU, first graduating in 2017 with dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Education, with a with a specialization in tourism, leisure and event planning. She became a BGSU graduate again in 2020 with a Master of Education in Sport Administration. While an undergrad at Bowling Green, she served as an event planning practicum student with Bowling Green gymnastics (Jan. 2017 – May 2017), as well as an intern with Bowling Green men’s basketball (May 2017 – Dec. 2017) where she created media pieces and coordinated community outreach initiatives. During her master's program, Shortridge also served as a teaching assistant in sport and exercise psychology classes while also aiding in the instruction and planning of both courses.Â
In addition to her work with the volleyball program, Shortridge is a graduate assistant to the School of Human Movement, Sport and Lesure Studies while also being a mentor in the WE LEAD program which is dedicated to helping women student-athletes identify their strengths, develop their skills and build their network with other women leaders in sport. Â
