Angie Hull was named Deputy AD and Senior Woman's Administrator in May 2025. Hull, a nationally respected leader in collegiate athletics with over two decades of experience, joins BGSU Athletics after most recently serving as Deputy Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Delaware. Prior to her time in Newark, Hull spent nearly 17 years at Kent State University in a variety of progressive leadership roles within athletics administration.
During her time at Delaware, Hull co-chaired the university's successful transition from FCS to FBS, conference transition to Conference USA and various affiliate memberships, led the department's NIL task force, and played a central role in the implementation of gender equity and Title IX initiatives. Under her leadership, Delaware student-athletes benefited from a record number in NIL collective support in a single year, and scholarship funding was strategically reallocated to increase recruiting potential without impacting the department's bottom line.
Before Delaware, Hull's impact at Kent State was extensive and far-reaching. She oversaw academic services, student-athlete development and NIL programming while serving as sport administrator for several Division I programs, including track and field, cross country, and gymnastics. Hull developed multiple signature initiatives, such as the Coaches Leadership Academy, the Athletics Leadership Institute, and the Most Valuable Professor (MVP) recognition program. She also led budget management for multiple units, developed policies and procedures for support areas, and created several cross-campus partnerships to enhance student success and retention.
A recognized thought leader in the industry, Hull has served as an NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum facilitator and is an active member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A). She is also a consultant for the NACDA/N4A Consulting 360 program, assisting other universities in evaluating and improving academic and student development services.
Hull earned both her bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and her master's degree in higher education administration from the University of Akron. She and her husband, David, are the proud parents of daughter Dylan and son Lincoln.
