In 2024-25, Myers guided graduate transfer Trista Fintel to first-team All-MAC honors during the indoor and outdoor seasons in which the Falcons won their first conference titles since 1999 and 1981, respectively.
Fintel, who was an eight-time All-American at Findlay, also earned MAC Most Outstanding Field Performer for the outdoor season after becoming the first MAC thrower since 2003 to win both the hammer throw and shot put events at the conference championships. She also qualified for the NCAA East Regional in both events.
Additionally, freshman Emma Hoffman placed eighth in the discus while Jenna Lucas earned a PR by over three meters in the javelin at the Championships.
During the indoor campaign, Fintel won the MAC title in the weight throw and was runner-up in the shot put.
In 2023-24, Myers coached Mateya Haintz to an NCAA East Regional appearance in the hammer throw as well as a MAC championship for the second consecutive year in the event. Haintz also placed fourth in the weight throw at the indoor conference championship.
In his first season with the Falcons in 2022-23, Myers led BGSU throwers to a historic campaign. Zaresha Neal won the MAC indoor shot put title while Falcon throwers won three titles at the MAC Outdoor Championships, the most in school history. Neal earned the shot put and discus championships, while Haintz won the hammer throw. Their efforts played a key role in the Falcons' fourth-place finish as a team, which was their best since 1998 at the time.
Neal qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the shot put and discus, exceeding her seed in both events and qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the discus. Haintz also qualified for the regional meet in the hammer throw, where she also exceeded her seed. Neal exceeded her seed again at the NCAA Championship, placing 15th to garner second-team All-America honors.
Prior to Bowling Green, Myers spent four seasons as the throws coach at Northwood University in Michigan. He guided throwers to three NCAA Division II first-team All-America honors as well as two second-team All-America awards.
