Michael Leopardo was named the Multimedia Production Coordinator in August 2016.

Leopardo has oversight of all video production for each of the 18 Falcon sports including football, basketball, ice hockey, and volleyball and oversees the execution of the video displays in each of the facilities on the BGSU campus. He also manages the department’s YouTube Channel, which displays the latest and greatest happening in BGSU Athletics.

Leopardo manages a staff of 5-6 undergraduate interns from a variety of majors who want to learn more about video production and apply their knowledge to game execution of the video boards and content creation in the multimedia office.

Leopardo came to BGSU after serving as the Creative Producer for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he assisted in all aspects of video production ranging from creating intro videos to directing green screen shoots with players.

Prior to Lehigh Valley, Mike spent two years in the ECHL working for the Wheeling Nailers in Wheeling, W.Va., where he started as an intern and evolved to part-time and then was promoted to full-time entering his second season with the team.

Leopardo earned his degree in communications/film from Clarion University in 2013 where he was a member of the golf team. Mike is from Beaver Falls, Pa., and is an avid hockey and golf fan.
