Zack Durr joins BGSU as the Director of Operations for Cross Country and Track & Field. He manages travel, meals, community outreach and day-to-day logistics for each program.

Durr comes to Bowling Green after earning his bachelor's in physical education from Vermont State University at Castleton in May 2025. His undergraduate experience is marked with leadership: he captained the men's track team, was president of the senior class, president of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and vice president of the Student Government Association.

Representing 4,000+ student-athletes of the Little East Conference, Durr was an associate member of the NCAA Division III SAAC from March 2023 to January 2025. In the summer of 2024, he interned for NCAA Women’s Basketball and managed operations for the College Basketball Academy (CBA) in Rock Hill, S.C. In this role, he scheduled transportation, games and tournaments, staffed the event, organized player information, and communicated logistical information to parents. One year prior, he was a marketing intern for Syracuse Athletics and oversaw promotional efforts for the volleyball program.
