The Falcons won the consolation game of the GranTree Inn Classic by defeating Morehead State, 88-76.
Bowling Green led 37-23 at halftime after holding Morehead State to just 23.5% (8-of-34) shooting from the field while they were converting 13-of-30 shots from the field, including 6-of-13 from three-point range.
The Falcons then shot 50% from the field and three-point range in the second half to keep the lead.
Angie Farmer led four Bowling Green players in double figures with 20 points while Francine Miller added 17 markers and Sherry Kahle had 13 points.
Morehead State had 24 offensive rebounds in the game and an overall 51-46 edge on the boards, but made just 8-of-41 from three-point range and 28-of-81 shots from the field. BG was 12-of-25 from three-point range and 30-of-64 from the field.
