Two Falcons Earn First-Team All-Mac Honors

Bowling Green senior midfielder Chris Dore (Vermillion, OH/Lorain Catholic) and junior defender Fred Degand (Highland Park, IL/Deerfield) were both named to the Mid-American Conference First-Team as announced by the league office.

Dore, who garnered second team All-MAC honors last year, led BG in scoring during the regular season with eight goals and eight assists for 24 points and a team-best three match-winning goals.

Degand helped lead a BG defense that only allowed nine goals in seven league matches. He scored both of his goals during the regular season against MAC opponents.

The Falcons, the No. 3 seed, begin MAC Tournament play on Friday, Nov. 5 with a 1:30 p.m. (Central) match versus Northern Illinois, the No. 6 seed.
