Dore Named MAC Soccer Player Of The Week

Bowling Green senior midfielder Chris Dore has been named Mid-American Conference Pepsi Player of the week.

Dore tallied one goal and assisted on three others in helping Bowling Green to a pair of league victories this past week.

Dore assisted on BG's first goal at Marshall on Friday, then netted the game-winner in double overtime giving the Falcons a 2-1 victory.

He had a pair of assists in Sunday's 4-1 triumph over Northern Illinois, which included an assist on the game-winning goal.

Bowling Green takes to the road this weekend for a pair of league matches. The Falcons face No. 19-ranked Akron Friday night at Lee Jackson Field. Kickoff is slated for 7:15 p.m. BG's road swing continues on Sunday with a 1 p.m. MAC contest at Buffalo.
