Men's Soccer Team Excels In Classroom

Thirteen members of the 1999 Bowling Green State University men's soccer team received at least a 3.00 grade-point average for the 1999 fall semester.
Three players (Michael Began, Ty Fowler and Matt Leardini) earned perfect 4.00 gpa, while three additional student-athletes (Tony Malik, Adam Schokora and Kevin Wisniewski) received Dean's List honors for earning at least a 3.50 gpa.
The seven remaining student-athletes who earned at least a 3.00 gpa were Bobby Biggs, Jason Bryant, Adam Erhard, Justin Follebout, Chris Kraft, Detrick Matthews and Ben Vaccaro.
The team GPA for the 1999 fall semester was 2.95 bringing the team cumulative gpa to 2.92.
