Bowling Green State University freshman goalkeeper David DeGraff (Naperville, Ill./Central) has been selected Mid-American Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
DeGraff led the Falcons to back-to-back shutouts of league opponents last week. BG claimed a 2-0 victory at Western Michigan last Wednesday behind two saves from DeGraff. He made four saves in Saturday's 1-0 triumph over Marshall that knocked the Thundering Herd out of a first place tie in the conference standings.
Bowling Green plays at Oakland University today (4 p.m.) and travels to Kentucky on Friday for an 8 p.m. match. The Falcons conclude the regular season with three home matches in five days on Oct. 27 (Buffalo), Oct. 29 (Akron) and Oct. 31 (Michigan State).
