Michael Began (So./Fr., goalkeeper - Broadview Hts., OH/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.): Saw action in one match, playing 102 minutes against Michigan State...made six saves in recording a tie.
P.J. Behan (Fr., midfielder - Toledo, Ohio/St. Francis de Sales): Played in all but two matches, starting the final 12 of the season...scored the match-winning goal in BG's 2-1 victory over Akron...also scored in BG's 2-1 victory over Oakland...named to the MAC All-Tournament team...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Gene Braxton (Sr., midfielder - Cincinnati, OH/Turpin): Played in every match...started eight matches, including the final six of the season...scored three goals, including game-winners against Marshall and in the MAC Tournament semi-finals at Buffalo...other goal came in 3-0 defeat of Buffalo...named to the MAC All-Tournament team...finished his career with six goals and three assists while at BG...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Tim Butler (So., forward - Broadview Hts., OH/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.): Saw action in nine matches...played at Cleveland State in 1999.
David DeGraff (Fr., goalkeeper - Naperville, IL/Central): Started every match...made a career-high nine saves on two occasions...named to the Coca-Cola Panther Invitational All-Tournament team...selected as MAC Player of the Week after posting shutouts in back-to-back games against Marshall and Western Michigan.
Fred Degand (Sr., back - Highland Park, IL/Deerfield): Started all 15 matches he played...scored goals against Creighton, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Vanderbilt, and Michigan...also dished out four assists...named to the Coca-Cola Panther Invitational All-Tournament team...named to the all-tournament team of the BGSU Diadora Classic...named to the MAC All-Tournament team...earned All-MAC First-Team honors...finished his career with 11 goals and nine assists for 31 points.
Adam Erhard (Sr., back - North Olmsted, OH): Started all 17 matches he played, missing only one due to red card...anchored defense that allowed only four goals in six league matches...had eight assists on the season, including assists on game-winning goals against Oakland and in the MAC Tournament semi-final against Buffalo...earned All-MAC First-Team honors...finished his career with one goal and 10 assists while at BG...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Deryck Freudeman (Fr., forward - Dublin, OH/Scioto): Did not play, will be redshirted.
Chris Kraft (Sr., midfielder - North Olmsted, OH): One of five Falcons to start every match...both goals he scored this season were match-winners...the first came in a 2-1 victory over Detroit-Mercy...the other came in 2-0 defeat of Western Michigan...also had one assist...named to the Coca-Cola Panther Invitational All-Tournament team...finished his career with four goals and seven assists for 15 points.
Matthew Leardini (So., midfielder - Youngstown, NY/Lewiston-Porter): Saw action in 15 matches...played over 50 minutes against Michigan State...was credited with two shots on goal for the season...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Michael Lopez (Fr., midfielder - Perrysburg, OH/Anthony Wayne): Did not play, will be redshirted.
Matt Lyons (Sr., midfielder - Maineville, OH/Cincinnati Moeller): Started all 17 matches he played, missing only one due to red card...led the team with five goals...tied for the lead in assists with eight...led the team in points with 18...recorded points in nine of BG's 18 games...was named MAC Player of the Week after scoring two goals and two assists in victories over Buffalo and Akron...earned All-MAC Second-Team honors...named to the 2000 BGSU Diadora Classic All-Tournament Team...finished his career with eight goals and 12 assists for 28 points.
Tony Malik (Jr., back - Parma, OH/Padua Franciscan): Played every minute of every match this season...one of five Falcons to start every match...after switching from forward to defender this season, helped anchor the defense that allowed only four goals in six league matches...was credited with three shots for the season...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Matthew Martinka (So/Fr., back - Newton, NJ): Played in 13 matches this season, drawing six starting assignments...played entire match against Vanderbilt, Michigan and Marshall...was credited with one shot for the season.
Detrick Matthews (Jr., forward - Bellefontaine, OH/Hope-Rio Rancho, NM): One of five Falcons to start every match...all three goals this season were match-winners...scored against Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Michigan, and Buffalo...also tallied an assist against Buffalo for a three-point game...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Marcus McCain (So/Fr., forward - Madison, WI/East): Made the team as a walk-on...did not play.
Zac Olson (5th/Sr., midfielder - Mason, MI): Started all 13 matches he played...missed the final five matches due to injury...his lone goal this season was a match-winner against Oakland...only assist came on the game-winning goal over Marshall...finished his career with 11 goals and six assists for 28 points.
Joshua Racette (Fr., forward - Pickerington, OH): Did not play, will be redshirted.
Adam Schokora (Jr/So., back - Clinton Township, MI/De La Salle): Played in eight matches this season, starting five...played the entire game in first three matches of the year...was credited with two shots for the season...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Tommy Thomas (5th/Sr., forward - Elida, OH), One of five Falcons to start every match...scored three goals on the season...scored BG's lone goals in 2-1 overtime losses to Wisconsin-Green Bay and Kentucky...other goal came in 2-1 victory over Detroit-Mercy...started every match the past two seasons (37)...finished his career with four goals and three assists for 11 points.
Scott Tilford (Fr., forward - Cincinnati, OH/Archbishop McNicholas): Saw playing time in 14 matches...played over 30 minutes three times...garnered lone assist on BG's first goal in 3-1 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Mike Tinajero (Sr/Jr., Findlay, OH): Saw playing time in nine matches, including six in a row during latter half of the season.
Ben Vaccaro (Jr., midfielder - Kent, OH/Roosevelt): Played in all 18 matches, drawing starting assignments in eight...his lone goal came during 2-1 victory over Western Michigan...played entire matches in final five games, including 120 minutes in 1-1 double overtime tie against Michigan State in which he assisted on BG's lone goal...also tallied an assist in BG's lone goal of 2-1 overtime loss at Kentucky...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Kevin Wisniewski (Jr., midfielder - North Olmsted, OH): Played in all 18 matches, starting six...scored his lone goal of the season in 1-1 double overtime tie with Michigan State...selected to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
Jonathon Wells (Fr., forward - Bexley, OH): Did not play, will be redshirted.
