Men's Tennis Loses At Louisville, 7-0

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
The Bowling Green men's tennis team saw a five-match winning streak come to an end Wednesday (March 29). The Falcons suffered a 7-0 road loss to nationally-ranked Louisville.
The 50th-ranked Cardinals recorded victories in every singles flight to move to 16-7 on the season. BG's Nicolas Lopez-Acevedo was the lone Falcon to extend his match to a third set. The freshman lost to UL's Joachim Lien by a 6-1, 2-6, 6-0 result.
In doubles action, the second-flight team of Nicolas Lopez-Acevedo and Geoff Hiscox recorded BGSU's lone win on the day. The two freshmen downed UL's Brent McCombe and Cody Conley by an 8-6 score.
The Falcons, now 9-5 on the season, return to action Friday (March 31) with a neutral-site match vs. Rice. That dual, which will be played in Columbus, Ohio, is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
Following the Rice match, BGSU will host Dayton in Saturday (April 1) action. That match will start at 1:00 p.m. at Keefe Courts on the BGSU campus.
