Bowling Green dropped a 7-1 decision at Kent in Sunday's first game.
The Falcons lone run came in the seventh inning to snap Dirk Hayhurst's bid for a third shutout on the season. Matt Marcum had a one-out double and scored on a single by Kenny Burdine.
Kent scored once in the first and added three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.
Craig Menke started for BG and allowed six earned runs in five innings, while Brad Henry allowed one run in his inning of work.
