Bowling Green's baseball team dropped the fourth game of the weekend series at Ohio University by an 8-1 score.
The Bobcats scored five times in the fourth inning chasing Falcon starter Brett Baumgartner. Brad Henry allowed three runs in the sixth inning. Chad Curlis retired one of the two batters he faced.
Bowling Green's lone run came in the fifth inning when with one-out Len Elias and Scott Dukate had a back-to-back doubles. Matt Best went three-for-four for BG.
Bowling Green is now 25-22-1 overall and 12-10 in the Mid-American Conference. Ohio improves to 28-19-1 overall and 17-7 in the MAC. The Falcons play at Michigan on Tuesday, and host Dayton on Wednesday to conclude the non-conference portion of their 2000 schedule. BG will finish the MAC portion of its regular-season schedule with a four-game home series against Akron on May 13-14.
