ANNIVERSARY AWARD
The Anniversary Award was established in 1985 by the respective alumni departments at Kent State and Bowling Green State University. Commemorating the founding of KSU and BGSU and celebrating 75 years of existence, personnel headed by Larry Weiss of BGSU and Anita Herington of KSU came up with the original concept. Since the awards inception in 1985, BGSU has won the award 12 of 15 times.
SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE
Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season. The Falcons are coming off a 20-17 loss at Buffalo, while the Golden Flashes lost at Miami, 45-14.
The Falcons will be looking to avoid their first 0-5 start since 1988, while Kent State is hoping to duplicate last year's 41-27 victory over BGSU in Kent.
