RARE NON-CONFERENCE HOME GAME
This will be just the ninth home non-conference game during the Blackney era. BGSU is 6-2 against non-MAC opponents in the Black Swamp. By contrast, the Falcons have played 20 road games against non-conference opponents (6-14) during that same span.
UNCHARTERED TERRITORY
This will be the first-ever visit to a MAC facility for the Panthers. Pittsburgh will be looking for a win in its road opener for the first time since the 1993 season, when they won at Southern Mississippi, 14-10.
