Falcon Volleyball Falls at Toledo

Toledo, Ohio - For the second time in three nights, the BGSU women's volleyball team spotted its opponent two games before storming back to force a fifth and deciding game. Unlike Wednesday evening (BGSU rallied to defeat Kent State at home, 3-2), BGSU was unable to complete the comeback as it fell to host Toledo, 3-2. The Rockets captured the first two games, 35-33 and 30-27. The Falcons won the next two, 31-29 and 30-22 before falling in the fifth game, 15-6.
Senior Caty Rommeck led BGSU with 25 kills and 12 digs. Junior Kristin Gamby added 18 kills, while senior Natalie Becker conributed 59 assists.
BGSU outhit the Rockets, 25.3 to 24.0. With the win, UT improves to 10-5 and 6-3. BGSU is now 9-4 and 3-3. The Falcons will visit Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 3 p.m
