Falcon Volleyball Goes The Distance Against Eastern

Ypsilanti, Michigan - For the third time in four days, the BGSU women's volleyball team gave the fans their money's worth defeating Eastern Michigan, 3-2, in a MAC contest on Saturday. Following a five-game victory over Kent State on Wednesday and a five-game loss at Toledo on Friday evening, the Falcons rallied from a 2-1 deficit to post their 10th victory of the season. The Falcons are 10-4 and 4-3.
EMU (10-6, 5-4 in the MAC) won the first game 30-20, while BGSU captured the second game, 30-26. The hosts won the third, 30-17, while BGSU captured the final two games, 30-19 and 16-14.
Senior Caty Rommeck led BGSU with 23 kills and 20 digs, while junior Kristin Gamby had 19 kills. Natalie Becker added 56 assists who were outhit by Eastern, .198 to .167.
BGSU will host IPFW, Tuesday at 7 p.m., in Anderson Arena.
