Bowling Green - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team leads the John Piper Intercollegiate after day one of competition. The Falcons lead with a team score of 582 after two rounds on Monday at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.
BGSU's Austin Chase and Andy Miller are tied for sixth with a score of 144, while Brian Gerken (T-18th, 147) and Justin Gillham (T-20th, 148) are also in the top 20. Adam Balls is tied for 23rd with a score of 149.
Wright State's John Schones and Youngstown State's Ryan Harmon lead the field with a two-round score of 140 at the inaugural John Piper Intercollegiate.
Following BGSU in the top five are Loyola-Chicago (583), Wright State (584), Youngstown State (585), and Detroit and Oakland, which are tied for fifth at 594.
The final round of 18 will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at the Stone Ridge Golf Club.
