
The Falcons Beat The Bulls In Three

Bowling Green, Ohio - In the first game of their weekend stint at home, the BG volleyball team defeated the Buffalo Bulls, 3-0 (30-26, 30-28, 30-24). A team effort contributed to the win as the Falcons move to 13-6 overall and 6-5 in the MAC.
The Falcons were led by sophomore Susie Norris's 17 kills and nine digs. Norris hit .342 on the night. Senior Caty Rommeck contributed 15 kills in the win, hitting .342, as well as a team-high two block solos.
Setters Natalie Becker and Sara Sikorski put up a joint effort in the win, posting 25 and 23 assists, respectively.
Kristin Gamby led the team with four total blocks, while Laura Twyman knocked down three. Tywan also posted seven kills, hitting .462, her best since August 31.
Also seeing action for the Falcons were Kate Yeo, Nadia Bedricky, Shyann Robinson, Karen Amstutz, Amber Vorst, Melissa Mohr, Bridget Protas and Kristin Gamby.
The Falcons recorded 56 kills as a team, hitting .248, while the Bull had 40 kills and hit .196. The Falcons posted nine team blocks to the Bulls' six.
BG returns to Anderson Arena for thier first afternoon match of the season. The Falcons face Ohio Saturday (Oct. 27) at 3:00 p.m.
