BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"I thought it was the worst half of basketball we've played in the first half. But I thought Indiana State had a lot to do with that. They held on to the ball. They drove it. I just think they're a good team."
"I thought (Keith) McLeod on the offensive end, Pardon handling the ball and (Brent) Klassen on the defensive end were really good. When Lenny (Matela) struggled, (Kevin) Netter did a great job of picking us up and that's what teams do that I guess are successful."
"The second half, we probably played as well as we have in a long time."
"I didn't feel real comfortable until Pardon made the free throws to make it a seven-point game. Their kids did a great job of defending us the last six minutes of the game and didn't allow us anything."
On Keith McLeod's season thus far
"I don't throw things around much. But I had a chance to coach [Calbert] Cheaney and [Greg] Graham and to watch [Steve] Alford and those guys, and this kid has had an All-American year. I mean I'm not talking about all-league, I'm not talking about all-Midwest. The kid has been there every night. To see how far this kid has come is remarkable to me."
"We went into halftime with the attitude that we weren't going to lose. I hit a couple of shots, we made some stops and that kind of got everybody going. That was an adrenaline boost."
"Coach told us that Indiana State had a week to prepare for this game and would play hard and would play good defense."
