Campbell Eligible For CSC Academic All-America Consideration
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Three members of the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). The teams were announced Tuesday afternoon (March 24). Javontae Campbell, Troy Glover II and Mayar Wol were all named to the team. The Falcons have now had at least one Academic All-District member in three-straight seasons, a program record. Campbell will be eligible for Academic All-America consideration. The All-America selections will be announced on April 14.Â
Javontae Campbell, Individualized Studies, 3.62 GPA
Starting all 32 games for the Falcons, Javontae Campbell put together a historic campaign. Campbell broke the program's single-season steals record with 97, finishing third all-time in the Mid-American Conference and leading the nation for the season. Campbell averaged a team-leading 18.7 points per game, including a MAC-leading 21.4 points per game against MAC opponents. In addition to his scoring outputs, Campbell shot 50.0-percent from the field for the season, ranking ninth in the MAC. He rounded out his strong stat line with 163 assists, leading the team while averaging 6.0 assists per game against MAC opponents to rank third in the conference.Â
Troy Glover II, Individualized Studies, 3.66 GPA
Troy Glover II played in all 32 games for the Falcons while making 30 starts in the Orange and Brown. Glover led the team in field goal percentage, shooting 65.8-percent from the field, and registered three double-doubles over the course of the season. Glover paced BGSU in blocks with 45, breaking into the team's top 10 for a single-season, and ranked fifth in the MAC for blocks per game (1.4). He also logged five games with four or more blocks.Â
Mayar Wol, Individualized Studies, 3.50 GPA
Mayar Wol was one of five Falcons to appear in all 32 games for the Orange and Brown, starting 10 and averaging 19.9 minutes per contest. Wol tied for the team lead in three-pointers made, sinking 50, while shooting 39.1-percent from behind the arc. Overall, Wol averaged 10.5 points per game while shooting 48.6-percent from the field. His highest scoring game came on Jan. 9 against Akron with 32 points, including five three-pointers.Â
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.Â
