Heldt's jump of 5-10 gave her top honors by two inches. Classmate Andrea Cook (Marysville, OH) cleared 11-1 3/4 in the pole vault to pick up the win.
In throwing events, sophomore Mary Willems (Huntington, IN) took first in the discus (136-10) and also finished fourth in the hammer throw (137-9). Senior Lisa Keegan (Green Springs, OH) took top honors in the hammer at 174-10, while finishing third in the shot put with a throw of 41-1.
The Falcons return to competition on March 31 when they travel to Cincinnati to take part in the Bearcat Invitational.
