Falcons Record All-Time Marks in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. — Bowling Green's women's track and field team made its presence known at Ball State's We Fly Challenge over the weekend, delivering a pair of all-time program marks in a productive two-day trip to Muncie.
Rachael Hoover and Kylee Cubbison impressed in the 800m, going 1-2 with times of 2:07.99 and 2:09.75, respectively. Cubbison's time ranks among the program bests, it being ninth in all-time. It's also the seventh best time in the MAC this season.
The 4x100 relay team of Morgan Patterson, Kiersten Franklin, Kiera Bonds and Reagan Campbell lit up the track at 46.09, good for second place and the sixth-fastest time in BGSU history. The effort also slots in as the fifth-best relay split in the MAC this season.
Sabrina Imes won the triple jump, soaring to a first-place finish at 11.88m. Bonds was right behind her in third at 11.31m, and Imes doubled back in the long jump to place 11th at 5.36m, with Patterson adding a sixth-place mark of 5.48m.
The sprint corps was equally sharp. Franklin sliced through the 400 meters in 56.05 to finish second, while Tyyetta Herman, Campbell and Greber went fourth, fifth and 10th in the 100 meters. All three came back in the 200m, where Campbell (24.96), Herman (25.01) and Greber (25.17) finished fifth, sixth and seventh.
Viktorie Krizova was a double contributor in the hurdles, placing fifth in the 100m hurdles (14.82) and fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:03.39). Bianca Staples cleared 1.65m to take fourth in the high jump.
In the field, Grace Bradtmueller led a trio of Falcons in the hammer throw with a sixth-place mark of 46.95m. Sierra Brinson anchored the shot put and discus, finishing fifth (14.02m) and seventh (40.96m), respectively, while Lily Tomasheski contributed a fourth-place javelin throw of 37.63m and an eighth-place shot put of 13.09m .
Bowling Green returns to action April 16-18 at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., and April 17-18 at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va.
