Women's Golf Finishes First Round Of Competition At Illini Spring Classic

URBANA, Illinois - After one round of play at the Illini Spring Classic, the Falcons are sitting in 6th place out of 16 teams. They shot a combined 324, which places them 18 strokes behind the University of Notre Dame. Notre Dame holds the first round lead after carding a 306 as a team. Shooting the low round of the day for Bowling Green was Freshman Jenny Schnipke. Her 78 was good enough to place her in a tie for 12th place after the first day of competition. The following are the Falcon scores after day one. They will be back in action tommorow to finish the competition.
