Huntington, WV - The Bowling Green State University pounded 22 hits on a rainy Easter Sunday to take a 15-6 victory over Marshall and salvage a split of their four-game series with the Thundering Herd.

Bowling Green, which is hitting an incredible .348 as a team for the season, had at least one hit in every inning but the third.
Second baseman Corey Loomis had the best day for the Falcons, going 5-for-5 with a two-run homer, four singles and five runs scored. Aric Christman and Lee Morrison also had four hits each for BGSU . Morrison hit a solo homer, his fifth of the series, right after a solo shot by Kelly Hunt in the first inning.
