Peterson Named MAC Athlete of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio - Sophomore Zerian Peterson (Lima/Lima Senior) has been named the Male Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week by the Mid-American Conference.
Peterson won three events at the Cincinnati 9-Way Meet on Saturday. He won the 200 meters in 21.80, the 400 meters at 47.50 and ran the second leg of the winning 4 X 100 in 41.63. He also was a member of the 4 X 400 relay team which finished second in 3:19.30.
He was the 2000 MAC Outdoor Track and Field champion in the 400 meters.
