Women's Tennis Student-Athletes Honored

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference office announced the 2001 MAC Women's Tennis Honor Roll, and four members of the Bowling Green State University team were among those honored.
Seniors Abby Bratton (3.37 grade point average/health management), Tracy Howitt (3.48/child and family community services), Meghan Rhodes (3.72/international business) and Erika Wasilewski (3.21/health science) all were named to the team.
To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and earn a letter for the current season. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible, as a student-athlete must have attended the institution for an entire year to qualify for the award.
The Falcons of head coach Penny Dean finished the 2000-01 campaign with a dual-match record of 8-14, including a 4-5 MAC mark.
